Thumpies XL, 2010, Big Blue Bubble, iPad. It released on October 14th, 2014 during the 1.3.0 2nd Anniversary Update. The Thumpies look like the ones that are available in the Thumpies XL game (KarrToof, RhooTz, and ChoMPh). Rare Thumpies is a triple-element Rare Monster, and was the first triple-element Rare to be added. The Mountain Morsel can also be seen in Thumpies XL in the background of the level dripPLe basS. The name comes from "thumping" on instruments. Appearance The Thumpies Totem is a wooden totem pole that has three Thumpies in the pole. as the Nerdlucks that work for galactic worker Mr. Thumpies are a reference to the 'Big Blue Bubble Inc.' game with the same name. Thumpies would be weak against Air and Fire, and resist Plant and Earth. The Thumpies' contribution to an island's song is a thundering drum sound of timpani, which is created when the duo jumps around upon their tree stump and mushrooms, symbolizing the differently tuned drums. Thumpies can be bred with the combination of Air, Plant, and Cold. There, they lightly bounce on the tree stump. On Composer Island, their animation is different. More points are earned for accurate timing. Unlike most rhythm games, the game detects accuracy on timing rather than a series of taps. Each of the Thumpies will bounce around each drum, either from outside the screen or from drum to drum. The pink one bounces and spins excitedly, while the brown one bounces a bit nervously, but the brown one is always in the air just above the stump at the end of their idle animation, in case they start playing their part again. The main gameplay for the game Thumpies is to tap on each drum at the right timing to each Thumpies collision. When these two monsters are idle, they stay in tempo by (even though they're not on their instrument) remaining to bounce on the ground. One of them, called "NoObiE," is pink, while the other one, known as "FurFacE," is brown-red. There's also less dots on the mushrooms, and there's leafs instead of vines on the stump. Sometimes they tumble and spin as they bounce. Thumpies changes up the Tap Tap Revenge and Rock Band model, and now has a new iPad version. They appear in pairs, accompanied by a pair of big colored mushrooms and a large tree stump which they bounce on to make a "thumping" noise. Thumpies is full of crazy characters that attempt to reinvent the rhythm based genre.
